Moveable Chicken Coop, 9805 Statesville Road Suite 6403, Charlotte, NC 28269
By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't order.
2. Eligibility
You need to be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Orders are for personal or small-farm use;
3. Orders, prices and acceptance
- Prices are in US dollars and don't include tax or shipping, which are calculated at checkout.
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we accept it — when we confirm the order has been released for shipping, not when the checkout page loads.
- We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is out of stock, if the price or description was wrong, if the delivery address is outside our delivery area, or if we suspect fraud.
- Pricing errors: if an item is listed at an obviously wrong price, we'll contact you and either cancel with a full refund or confirm the correct price before shipping. We won't ship and then invoice you for a difference.
4. Product information and specifications
Specifications, dimensions, weights, materials and images are provided by the manufacturers and published as given.
- Where a figure is not confirmed, we leave it off the page rather than estimate it. Contact us and we will confirm the specification before you order to us, and it isn't a warranty that any particular figure applies.
- Timber is a natural material: colour, grain and small variations differ between units.
- Product photography is supplied by the manufacturers and is representative. Where our own measurements or observations differ from a manufacturer's claim, we publish ours and say so.
- We correct errors when we find them. Nothing on the site is a warranty beyond what the manufacturer offers and what these terms and the returns policy provide.
5. Hen capacity is guidance, not a guarantee
Capacity figures are guidance, calculated from published square-footage rules of thumb — roughly 4 sq ft of coop floor and 8–10 sq ft of run per standard-size hen — applied to the manufacturer's stated dimensions. Breed, climate, how long birds are confined and local welfare rules all change the right number. Deciding how many birds to house is the keeper's responsibility, and we're happy to talk it through before you order.
6. Assembly, siting and safe use
- Every coop we sell arrives flat-packed and requires assembly. Assembly is the buyer's responsibility. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, and don't substitute fixings.
- Site the coop on ground that suits it, and move a mobile coop only on the surface and slope its specification allows.
- Local rules are your responsibility. Zoning, HOA rules, permits, setback distances and limits on the number of hens (and on roosters) vary by city and county. Nothing on this site is advice that keeping hens, or this structure, is permitted where you live. Check before you order.
7. No warranty against predators
No chicken coop is predator-proof, and we make no promise about the safety or survival of any animal. We publish the hardware — wire gauge, mesh aperture, latch type and count, door and floor construction, roof material — where the manufacturer states it, so you can judge it. We describe coops as predator-resistant at most, and only alongside those stated facts. Predator damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered by any warranty described on this site.
8. Shipping, title and risk
Shipping windows, delivery expectations and the damage-on-arrival process are set out on Shipping and delivery. In summary: we ship within the time stated at the point of sale, or within 30 days if no time was stated; if we can't, we'll notify you and you can cancel for a full refund.
9. Returns and warranty
Set out on Returns and Warranty and parts, which form part of these terms.
10. Limitation of liability
11. Indemnity, intellectual property and your content
- The site's text, layout and original graphics are ours. Manufacturer photography and marks belong to their owners and are used to describe the products we sell; we don't claim them and we don't present ourselves as an authorised dealer of any brand unless we say so explicitly.
- Anything you send us — a question, a photo of a damaged carton, a review — you give us permission to use in handling your request and, where relevant, to publish with your identifying details removed.
12. Email and marketing
Marketing email is opt-in and one-click unsubscribable. Transactional email about your order isn't marketing and continues regardless. See the privacy policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you order. Material changes get a new effective date at the top.
