A note on sizing: at 60.2 inches this is one of the smaller footprints we stock, so treat six hens as a roosting-and-laying number rather than a live-in-it one. It works best for a flock that ranges in the yard during the day, or paired with a separate run.

Four swivel wheels are the easiest kind to move on a smooth, level surface and the hardest on rough grass, because nothing tracks straight. The manufacturer states the coop can be used indoors or outdoors, which is a fair hint at what surface those castors were designed for.

Assembly is required. Worth mentioning in advance if it's a gift — there's a build involved before the hens move in.
Care & placement
The raised living area is there to keep bedding dry, so don't park it in the lowest corner of the yard where water sits. Open both nest lids to air the boxes out on dry days. On lawn, swivel castors will sink into soft ground — move it after a dry spell rather than after rain.
These are long, heavy, flat-packed cartons, so they travel by freight rather than parcel post. We confirm your delivery window in writing once your order is placed, and you get tracking as soon as the cartons leave the warehouse. If we can't meet the window we gave you, we'll tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
Plan to be there when it arrives. Freight is a kerbside delivery — the driver is not carrying a 95-inch carton round the back for you.
Every coop arrives flat-packed and needs building. These are bolt-together frames rather than a hundred wood screws, so a socket wrench and a free afternoon covers most of them.
On anything over about six feet, plan for two people. The panels aren't especially heavy, but they are long, and holding one square while you start a bolt on your own is how doors end up not shutting.
If it turns up damaged or faulty, that is ours to fix. Photograph the cartons before you open them, email the pictures with your order number, and we will arrange the replacement part or unit — you don't ship anything back before we ask you to.
